Key feature of these accounts is that they operate in real-time on a 24×7 basis and that a suite of easy to implement Application Programming Interfaces is available that covers all of the functionality provided by the accounts.
By using the APIs it is possible to imbed banking functionality within a company’s business processes removing the more siloed, file based approach found with traditional bank accounts.
